Board of County Commissioners
Commissioner Marc Eberlein-District 1
Kootenai County Commissioner Marc Eberlein's priorities are: accountability, transparency, fairness, and fiscal restraint in County
government; protecting property rights in conjunction with wise stewardship of the land; restoring County employee morale; and encouraging
communication and teamwork.
He believes that honesty, common sense, practicality, the desire to listen and to hear, fairness, and the commitment to serve are qualities
we all expect of our government officials. Those qualities are essential to earn the trust and confidence of the folks who government
officials serve.
Eberlein says "I was elected by the people of Kootenai County to represent their interests. It is a great honor; it is not a responsibility
to be taken lightly as one day I will stand before my Maker to answer for my actions". Marc encourages folks to participate in the process
of government, to be ever vigilant, and to remember in prayer those who serve.
